(x - 2)² + (y - 7)² = 49

(x - 2)² + (y - 7)² = 7²

We can say that the center is the opposite of the shown numbers, so if we see -2 in x, the center is 2 and -7 in y, the center is 7

The equation of a circle:

[tex](x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2[/tex]

(h, k) - coordinates of a center

r - a radius

We have:

[tex](x-2)^2+(y-7)^2=49[/tex]

Answer:

The center: (2, 7)

The radius: r² = 49 → r = √49 → r = 7
