The mangrove forests of the Sundarbans provides an important defence in limiting climate change impacts, providing protection to coastal areas from tsunamis and cyclones. Therefore, without this then there will be no protection against tsunamis and cyclones. More occurrence of such disasters. Hope this answers the question.
