The mean of the sample given by 44,22,11,17,21 will be given by:
[tex] \mu= \frac{\Sigma x_i}{n}[/tex]
the sum of x's will be:
44+22+11+17+21
=115
n=5
therefore the mean will be:
μ=115/5
=23
