I believe the answer is: Ganesha
Ganesha is worshiped by its followers as the remover of obstacles.
The obstacles in this context could include things such as resource scarcity, or bad lucks in general. So worshiping Ganesha is believed to bring large amount of wealth/abundance to people's life.
